LEARN ABOUT OTHER BERENSTAIN BEARS BOOKS!
The Berenstain Bears are big! We were first introduced to them in a Big Honey Hunt, but you might also know that they make Big Bloopers, have Big Questions and Big Road Races, and even have Big Books.
The Big Blooper
Sister Bear is over at Lizzy Bruin's house watching Trouble at Big Bear High--a big-cubs' video that they probably shouldn't even be looking at--in which two teen bears are having an argument. When one of them gets really really angry, he says a certain word. It's a word Sister has never heard before. At dinner that night Sister tries out this brand-new, stronger-sounding word. When Mama Bear recovers her senses, she has to explain to Sister all about a certain kind of word. It's the kind of word that nobody, not even adults and certainly not cubs, should use at any time, no matter how upset or angry they are.

The Big Question
When Sister Bear asks, "What's God?" Papa Bear launches into a long lecture about the universe; Mama tries to answer the question by showing Sister that God made everything, like clouds and trees and worms. But, when Sister continues to ask, "What about earthquakes, floods, fires, and tornadoes?" Mama is at a loss on how to respond. So, she takes her family to a Sunday morning service. The minister allows members of the congregation to speak. Farmer Ben says, "I feel thankful to God for giving us such a beautiful land in which to live." Grizzly Gran then says, "I feel thankful to God for two wonderful cubs." Mama Bear takes a turn by saying, ". . . I'm glad we came this morning. It helps me think things through." On the walk home, Sister Bear asks, "Did God make questions?" Papa answers, "Yes, sister, mostly questions."
The Big Road Race
Brother Bear in his little red car slowly but surely wins out against the yellow and blue cars in this tortoise-and-hare story.
Four different colors of bears race around a crazy race track, going "over" and "under", "around" and "behind" and playing dirty tricks on each other in rhyme. The excitement builds throughout the book, and the story teaches a message about persistence.

Big Bear, Small Bear
Small hat, big head. Big hat, small head. Can a bear find a hat that is
not too small and not too big, but just right? This book shows how some things fit and how they don't. The book shows how big things go with big things and little things go with little things. It is an excellent early reader with a few simple words frequently repeated in rhyme
Big Book of Science and Nature
Here are three books bound together to make one awesome Bear Country collection! The Berenstain Bears' Almanac, The Berenstain Bears' Nature Guide, and The Berenstain Bears' Science Fair are filled with fascinating facts that cubs and kids want o know about the world they live in. Chock-full of information about the weather, animals, insects, and plants, including dozens of simple science experiments, this is a reference book that offers fun for the whole family.
Big Bedtime Book
When Mama and Papa Bear go out for the night, Brother, Sister, and Honey aren't too sad that their parents will be gone. Why? Because they have Mrs. Grizzle—the best babysitter and storyteller ever! In The Berenstain Bears' Big Bedtime Book, the cubs and Mrs. Grizzle share six of their favorite stories, including "The Three Little Cubs and the Big Bad Pig," "Goldibear and the Three People," and "Little Red Grizzly Hood." Written and illustrated through the collaborative efforts of Stan, Jan, and Mike in the signature Berenstain style, this book of original folktales will have kids begging for bedtime.
