THE BEAR MUSEUMHE BEAR, SHE BEAR
We'll jump and dig and build and fly There's nothing that we cannot try. We can do all these things, you see, Whether we are he or she!Although they look like Brother Bear and Sister Bear, this is a story simply about a young he bear and she bear who discover they can do anything and be anything they want to--regardless of gender--in this empowering and fun, fast paced Bright & Early Book!
This is one of the last books that Ted Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Suess) edited for Stan and Jan, and like the 16 others it is filled with wonderful rhymes and kinetic action. It is a fun poem with brightly colored illustrations. He Bear, She Bear is a wonderful combination of each type of book with a great lesson filled with activity and told in rhyme. The message in this story for children and adults is that just because you're a male or a female doesn't mean you can't do anything you want to do if you put your mind to it.
