The History of the Berenstain Bears’ Tree House

Everyone knows the Berenstain Bears can be found “down a sunny dirt road” in Bear County in their own tree house. Their “home sweet tree” is where they start their day, and where most of the Bears’ stories begin. Here we present four images of the tree house as it has evolved over the years.

The Berenstain Bears’ Moving Day

1981

Did you know that the Bears once lived in a cave? Although this book was published nearly twenty years after the first Bear book appeared, it was the first to show the Bear’s original humble abode. The Berenstain Bears’ Moving Day book deals with the change and anxiety one feels when moving into a new house.
